Building Communities
Miller Regeneration likes to involve members from all areas of the community from all age groups. We work frequently with schools and offer site visits to ensure children are made aware of the Health and Safety aspects of a construction environment and are given an insight into the workings of an organisation.
Community consultation is part of our commitment; we want to encourage people from all parts of the community to work with us to create a place where they want to live. At Charleston and Lower Kersal in Salford we held a series of ‘People’s Panel’ days at which local residents made their contribution into the development process.
mymillerstreet.co.uk is a website developed specifically for people moving into a new Miller home on any development regardless of tenure. The website gives information on the development, local schools, shops, getting around and social activities to name but a few. There is also an opportunity to log on and meet your neighbours, leave messages and get involved in discussions affecting your neighbourhood.
The website provides important information about the environment and your homes’ impact so you can find out just how sustainable your lifestyle is. mymillerstreet is a groundbreaking idea and we don’t know of any other housebuilder that provides such a service.
We don’t just build houses – we like to build communities, and that’s something our customers love to be part of.
